About Us

WHO WE ARE
AND HOW DID WE GET HERE?

Welcome to a new way of learning about the world of global trade! We are excited about exporting and believe you should be too. Let us share our story with you and explain how we’ve become “disruptors” in the export education industry.

At the helm of our journey is Elyse, a small business enthusiast who never imagined she would find herself deeply entrenched in the cement industry, overseeing not one but two thriving businesses with over 100 employees. On her journey, she discovered three important pillars of knowledge.

1. The power of processes in running a company. Process make learning a new task manageable, keeps company operations aligned and is essential to employee expertise.

2. The underestimated impact of exporting on a company’s bottom line and long term growth. It can literally recession proof a business.

3. Training is essential. Bad training serves no one.

Elyse has trained many people, and somewhere along the way, BettySue became her training alter ego.  So, who is BettySue and why is she important?

BettySue, and her husband, Earnie Earl, are typical of small business owners around the world. She is known for her Texas-style big hair and sparkle.  In Texas, they say…the bigger the hair, the closer to heaven”. You will know she is in the room when you hear, “BettySue is my name and exporting is my game”.

BettySue is from Cactus, Texas but she could be from Toad Suck- Arkansas, Why- Arizona, Why Not-North Carolina, Whitefish- Montana, Boring- Oregon or even Santa Claus,-Indiana. She represents the best of small town, small business, using common sense backed by hard work.

Many of her products have been exported around the world including her Texas Tongue Torch Sauce, and Rattlesnake Olive Oil (https://texasoliveranch.com/) along with her newest item, BettySue’s Rhinestone Studded Night Vision Goggles for fashionista hunters.

As BettySue became more successful in exporting, she was given the nickname of Export Queen and it stuck! Fun is her middle name and she creates fun even while sharing serious information. She is certain that exporting can change your business just like it did hers.
